PDEs on the sphere 2019

Instructions

For oral presentations

1. Duration: maximum 20 minutes, including question period.
2. Format: PowerPoint, OpenDocument Presentation (ODP), or PDF. A laptop running on Windows operating system will be available, with PowerPoint, OpenOffice and Acrobat Reader. Even if you choose the PowerPoint or ODP format, we suggest you prepare a copy of your presentation in PDF format as well.
3. File transfer: if your presentation is ready before its scheduled date, you can send it to us by email at: ec.edp2019-pdes2019.ec@canada.ca. Otherwise, please bring your file on a USB key on the morning of your presentation, and give it to us so that we can transfer it to the workshop laptop.
4. For your information, the projector has a resolution of 1920x1200, i.e. a format of 16:10.

For poster presentations



1. Equipment: a poster board of 6x4 feet (about 180x121 cm) will be provided (see above image), as well as pins.
2. Format and size: there will only one poster on each side of the board. So, considering the frame, your poster can be of a maximum size of about 68x44 inches, or 170x110 cms.
3. Setup: you may have your poster displayed during the whole duration of the workshop. We recommend that you hang it on day 1 (Monday 29 April), and take it down at the latest on the last day before noon.
4. Schedule: please be present next to your poster during the poster session.
