Assessing the Canadian Radar Network with Data

The Canadian Weather Radar Network was expanded and refurbished in a project that ended in 2004. Full radar data is available on-line, allowing its use in developing improved QPE products. It is also possible to use the data to assess various issues in radar QPE as they relate to Canada. The presentation will give a quick overview of the use of radar in QPE and then the results of data based assessments of the radar products.
