The presentation will cover what the Eumetsat ATOVS Retransmission Service (EARS) project achieved since we gave the last presentation at CMC in 2002. The service has now become operational and several National Meteorological Service are assimilating the data in their Numerical Weather Prdiction models. The presentation will also address the future development plans for the service, including support of the Metop satellite and the ASCAT instrument.
