The presentation will address recent operational developments, such as extensions and enhancements of the forecasting system, new developments such as operational monthly and seasonal forecasts and product development in support of severe weather forecasting. The performance of the forecasting system will be reviewed, both in the free atmosphere for the larger scales and for the near-surface weather parameters.
