The training material has been developed with the Microsoft PowerPoint software. It is thus recommended to install the material on a compatible platform. The file

Formation-SPE_EPS-Training.zip

includes all the material that has been used in the training.

To access the training material, follow these instructions:

1. Copy the file Formation-SPE_EPS-Training.zip and its content onto your computer.
2. Uncompress the file. Once uncompressed, you have a master directory called Formation-SPE_EPS-Training, that include the documents and sub-directories described below.
3. It is preferable to install the directory as follows: D:\Formation‑SPE_EPS‑Training. If the structure of this directory is not changes, everything should work.

You have then all the material for the training.

It is also possible to browse through the documentation at this site.

Animations	This sub-directory contains two animations. rt_glob.AVI is the animation of the instantaneous precipitation rate of gthe G;obal model from 00 UTC January 20 2002 to 00 UTC January 25 2002. ei.AVI is the animation of the outgoing infrared radiation calculated by the Global model from 00 UTC January 20 2002 to 00 UTC January 25 2002. These animations are on pages 9 and 10 respectively of the introduction to the EPS training.
ENGLISH	This sub-directory contains all the modules (.ppt files) which have are used in the EPS training. All the content of these files is in English.
